โThis professional family is expecting their first child and is seeking a collaborative team consisting of a Newborn Care Specialist and a Postpartum Doula to provide both overnight and daytime support. Our goal is to help them find the most compatible and experienced team to guide them through the early weeks of parenthood with confidence and care.
Preference will be given to candidates who have previously worked together or who have demonstrated the ability to work harmoniously within a team setting. Clear, consistent communication between both caregivers will be essential to ensure smooth transitions between shifts and continuity of care.
The home is described as a quiet and calm environment, with ample space to welcome a newborn. The family is seeking support to allow the mother the time and space to heal during the postpartum period. They are particularly looking for caregivers who enjoy teaching, are gentle in their approach, and can help guide them through the early stages of newborn care while building trust and providing peace of mind.
Family members will be visiting during the early part of the contract, and the family is eager to welcome professionals who are adaptable and respectful of their values and space. While Mandarin Chinese is not required, the family speaks it at home alongside English, and candidates who also speak Mandarin would be considered a significant bonus.
Overnight caregivers will have a bed available in the nursery to rest as appropriate during shifts.
