First time parents are seeking additional overnight and daytime support by a Newborn Care Specialist or postpartum doula. This family has been working with us for 3.5 months and we love them! The baby is on a daytime routine and will love your support for the next 6 weeks to get the baby sleeping longer stretches and continue working on a daytime schedule. They would like your assistance with washing bottles, nursing upkeep and restocking items in the nursery. Dad’s job is very demanding and he works long hours away from home. The ideal person should be easy to get along with, non judgemental, educational, supportive both emotionally and physically and ready to pitch in where needed. Also you must have experience working with babies who are being treated for reflux and you will need to be extra patient when feeding as sometimes it can be challenging. Mom would like you to be aware of getting a good latch of the bottle and the pace at which you are feeding her. There is a bed in the nursery to rest for the overnight shifts.
