This active, fun, involved and organized family is seeking additional support with their 6 month old. They have had a wonderful experience working with 2 Newborn Care Specialists for the last 6 months and would like to continue with NCS or Doula trained support. This baby is on a good daytime routine and sleeps through the night. Mom has exclusively pumped milk and the baby has just started trying solids. They would appreciate someone who can guide them on the next stage with their baby, plan developmental activities and offer helpful suggestions along the way. Mom enjoys being around but will also be in and out some days. They will be expanding their family and appreciate the knowledge of a NCS or Postpartum Doula to help support them. Please be willing to travel. We have loved working with this family and know you will too!
The details:
- Client Location: North Scottsdale, AZ 85262 (this client currently lives in far North Scottsdale near Cave Creek) but possibly could be moving in the coming months to the central Scottsdale area.
- Schedule: 30 hours per week with some flexibility- mostly daytime hours during the week with the possibility of some weekend hours based on client need and NCS availability. Ideally 4 days per week, maybe a flexible 5.
- Start Date: As soon as possible. Baby has just turned 6 months old
- Contract Length: 6+ months. This family is hoping to keep this person long term as they grow their family.
- Accommodations Provided: NO
- Compensation: Up to $40 depending on experience
- Employee / Contractor Contract: Paid to your business or W-2
- Pets: Two french bulldogs Luna and Apollo as well as a 14 year old cat named Banga. All are very friendly.
As an NCS or Postpartum Doula you are:
- Caring, Trustworthy, Loving, Extroverted, Gentle and Go-with-the-the-flow.
- Must have a Driver's License, a clean driving record and a valid passport.
- They are looking for someone who can travel with them to different locations. An essential requirement of this position is the ability to perform all the functions required of this position in a manner which always keeps the baby safe.
