2 Newborn Care Specialists needed for an NCS team in Las Vegas, 89117

This highly active and professional family is seeking to add to their team of Newborn Care Specialists so they have 24-hour care for their baby. It is important to them that someone with solid experience and expertise is always available to ensure their child's well-being. During the day, the parents want full attention on the baby, and at night, they would like continuous awake care to provide peace of mind. Their ideal Newborn Care Specialist, who is an expert in this field, can both provide and take feedback and feel comfortable in a direct, straightforward communication environment. This family is looking for Newborn Care Specialists who are professional, clear and effective communicators when it comes to their baby’s care team and it is one of the most important qualities they seek.

The parents work from home and are often in Zoom meetings so the atmosphere is lively and dynamic most days. They have an open door policy in their home and will communicate via a group text and a Daily Log so everyone is kept up to speed on everything. They take pride in creating a positive and supportive environment which is why most people who work with them stay long-term. It is very important to the parents that everyone takes their role seriously while contributing to a happy and professional atmosphere. 

The details:

• Location: Las Vegas, NV
• Due Date: May 28, 2024 so baby is here! *positions start as soon as the right fit is found
• Schedule: See below. Please let us know which schedule you are interested in applying to.  There are two options and it will be expected that the two candidates will work together to ensure proper coverage. 
• Contract Length: One year with the possibility of an extension as another baby is hoped for in the next several months.  In their ideal world, the NCS hired would fill this role now and be there for their next baby as well.
• Pets: A 10 lb yorkie named Ninja
• Accommodations Provided: No
  
  • Prefer a local candidate, but will consider out of area and relocation considerations for the perfect candidate(s).
• Compensation: open for the right candidate
• W-2 only

Schedule:

Option for every other weekend off Schedule 

Week 1: 

NCS - A Monday-Friday 7am to 3pm OFF: Sat/Sun

NCS - B Wed, Thurs, Friday 3pm-11pm + Sat 9am to 7pm and Sunday 9am to 8pm OFF: Mon/Tues

Week 2: 

NCS - A  Wed, Thurs, Friday 3pm-11pm + Sat 9am to 7pm and Sunday 9am to 8pm OFF: Mon/Tues

NCS - B Monday-Friday 7am to 3pm OFF: Sat/Sun

Each candidate would work 10 days in a row but then have 4 days off. 

OR simply have the following schedule all the time

NCS - A Monday-Friday 7am to 3pm OFF: Sat/Sun

NCS - B Wed, Thurs, Friday 3pm-11pm + Sat 9am to 7pm and Sunday 9am to 8pm OFF: Mon/Tues

As an NCS you:

• Are Confident, Professional, Decisive, Reliable, Caring, Trustworthy and Educated
• Must have a Driver's License and a clean driving record.

It is essential that both NCS candidates demonstrate strong teamwork skills, as they will be collaborating with other NCS members already in place and coordinating schedules. The primary focus should always be on providing the best care for the baby. To achieve this, it's crucial that all NCS professionals work together seamlessly and communicate effectively, making a team-oriented environment a top priority.
