This experienced family is transitioning from 24/7 newborn care support to hiring an overnight Newborn Care Specialist to continue providing expert care and guidance during this next phase. They have previously worked with a collaborative live-in Newborn Care Specialist and are looking for someone who can seamlessly step in and provide nurturing, knowledgeable overnight support.
The family plans to provide a combination of breast milk and formula and is looking for an NCS who can offer guidance and support with all aspects of breastfeeding, pumping, and bottle feeding. The ideal candidate will document the baby’s routine and care using the BabyConnect app, tracking feeding, sleep, and behavioral patterns, while utilizing the Nanit monitor and app to observe sleep and help establish healthy sleep habits.
In addition to exceptional newborn care, responsibilities include laundering the infant’s clothing and linens, including drying, folding, and putting everything away. The family has an organized home and an established system in place, so they are seeking an NCS who is calm, confident, and able to communicate clearly while supporting their role as parents. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable and experienced without being overly opinionated, bringing a collaborative and respectful approach to the family dynamic.
The details:
Client Location: Stevenson, Maryland
Schedule: 7 nights a week 6:00PM-8:00AM
Start Date: September 7, 2026. The baby was born at the end of June and this family is transitioning from 24/7 care to overnight care.
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Compensation: $40-45/hr depending on your experience and education.
Employee / Contractor Contract: Independent Contractor to be paid to your business.
Accommodations: No; however out of area candidates can apply if they take care of their own accommodations.

Newborn Care Specialist must have a Driver's License.
