This first-time family is excited to welcome their baby in September and is seeking an experienced, educational Postpartum Doula to help guide them through the transition into parenthood. They are eager to learn and would greatly value a caregiver who enjoys educating new parents, sharing knowledge, and helping them build confidence in caring for their newborn. The family lives in a one-bedroom apartment, so the caregiver should be comfortable working in a smaller living space and helping the family stay organized. Overnight support will be provided in the living room, where the caregiver will have access to a couch while the baby sleeps nearby in a bassinet. Experience supporting breastfeeding families is important, and the ideal candidate will be able to offer guidance and encouragement throughout the feeding journey. This contract could extend through December. Candidates must be on the approved Carrot Doula Directory to keep the family eligible for reimbursement through Carrot Fertility.
The details:
Client Location: Brooklyn, NY
Schedule: 5 nights per week- Preferred hours are 8:00PM-7:00AM or 8:00AM. They are willing to adjust the hours by an hour in either direction, but prefer a 11-12 hour shift.
Due Date: September 29, 2026
Contract Length: 6 weeks with possible option to extend

Compensation: $40-55/hr depending on your experience and education.
