1237 - Long term NCS to nanny transitional role needed in Palm Beach area of FL/Northshore Suburbs of Chicago

These active, kind and highly involved parents are seeking a solidly experienced NCS who would like to stay on in a long-term role, transitioning to their nanny.   

Until now, Mom has been the primary caregiver, and they want someone experienced in working in a similar capacity either as an infant nanny or sibling doula who can support and guide both the parents and toddler as they navigate this transition to a family of four. The goal is for someone who will engage with and provide educational opportunities for the toddler as well as continue to support the love and safety the family has provided. This individual will encourage the toddler through positive communication and interactions as the toddler adapts to having a sibling.  Additionally, as the newborn grows, the level of support for the second child will increase. The home is peaceful, quiet and happy. The family is active and loves the outdoors, but when they are home, their environment is professional, calm, clean and organized. They are seeking a collaborative, organized and knowledgeable caregiver with polish and great communication skills who can support them as they adapt to being a family of 4 but also respects their very hands-on roles as parents. 

The details:

  • Client Location: Palm Beach (FL) Northshore Suburbs (Chicago, IL) 

  • Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 8am - 4pm, Ideally will have flexibility for evenings and weekend support outside of these hours.

  • Date: Newborn is due first part of August.  The family will return to the Palm Beach Area approximately the first week of Oct. The newborn will be approximately 8 weeks old at the time and the toddler will be about 18 months. 

  • Contract Length: Oct 2025 for at least a year. 

  • Compensation: 45+ per hour, DOE

  • Employee / Contractor Contract: W2 position

  • Palm Beach Local Candidates Only with ability to travel for several weeks at a time including most of the summer months.  Must also be able to travel regularly with the family.

  • Pets: None

As an NCS you are:

  • Experienced, Trustworthy, Educated, Attentive/Safety Awareness, Professional, Good Communicator, Caring, Reliable, Loving, Organized, Energetic, Gentle & Warm, Safe and Reliable Transportation. Knowledgeable in age-appropriate activities and educational opportunities.

  • The candidate must have a valid driver’s license and be CPR and First Aid Certified. An essential function of the caregiver role is keeping the children safe at all times.

  • Strong swimmer is required as there are pools and proximity to water

  • An NDA will be required for this position
  • Candidates must be a non-smoker and come from a non-smoking household
