These expecting parents are excited to welcome their first baby girl in February and are seeking an experienced Postpartum Doula/Newborn Care Specialist to provide guidance and support during this special time. As a loving and open-minded family, they value kindness, respect, personal growth, and appreciate mindfulness and intention in daily life. They believe strongly in the science and value of what a Newborn Care Specialist/Postpartum Doula does and are looking for a hands-on approach to help them learn the best techniques for caring for their daughter. Their goal is to create a nurturing, calm environment that supports their baby’s development and curiosity, while also allowing mom the time and space to heal both mentally and physically so she can show up as her best self. The Newborn Care Specialist/Postpartum Doula will serve as the primary support person during this period, though family and friends may occasionally visit without any caregiving responsibilities. This person will have the option to rest in the baby’s nursery overnight, which includes a queen bed, or in a nearby guest bedroom equipped with a queen bed and a baby monitor.

Client Location: Phoenix, AZ
Major Cross Streets - E Dobbins Rd & 7th St
Schedule:
5 nights per week for 8 weeks. 10:00PM-7:00AM (Monday-Friday nights)
4 nights per week in the 9th week-10:00PM-7:00AM
preference is to space these nights out to every other.
3 nights per week for the 10th week-10:00PM-7:00AM, preference to space out nights.
2 nights for the 11th week-Monday and Thursday nights.10:00PM-7:00AM
1 night a week for the 12th week-Wednesday nights.10:00PM-7:00AM
Due Date: February 16, 2026
Contract Length:12 weeks
Compensation: $40-45/hr depending on your experience and education.

Pets: Juniper (June) is our sweet and affectionate Australian Shepherd. She’s been around newborns and children of all ages, energy levels, and play styles. We've intentionally socialized her to be calm, gentle, and well-adjusted, and she loves being part of everything we do - even joining us on flights!

NCS or Postpartum Doula must have a Driver's License.
An essential function of the caregiver role is keeping the baby safe at all times.
