A warm and welcoming family is seeking an experienced Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) who is also trained as a Postpartum Doula to provide 24/7 live-in care and sleep support for their newborn. The family has two active boys, ages 2 and 4, who are cared for by a full-time nanny, allowing the NCS to focus primarily on the baby. This is a collaborative household with a house manager overseeing home operations during the week and a nanny providing care for the older children, but the majority of the NCS’s collaboration will be directly with the parents. The family is looking for someone who can “read the room” — stepping in to provide guidance and care when needed, while also stepping back when the parents, particularly the first-time mom, want to be more hands-on. They value a gentle, supportive presence rather than someone with their own agenda, and strong communication is key to ensure everyone remains on the same page regarding the baby’s needs. There are no stairs in the home, and there is a dedicated space for the children’s education and play. This is a travel-ready family that enjoys time near the water as well as winters in Colorado and Utah for snowboarding, so flexibility and willingness to travel are essential. The ideal candidate will be highly experienced in newborn care and sleep conditioning, nurturing, adaptable, professional, and able to bring a calm, reassuring presence to the home while working in partnership with the parents.

Schedule: 24/7 with daily break
Due Date: February 24, 2026
Contract Length: 4-6 months
Compensation:$40+hr depending on your experience and education. They are open to all rates of pay.

Newborn Care Specialist must have a Driver's License and passport. This family does travel and you will need proven experience doing so. Also you must be comfortable around water and a good swimmer. This family loves the water! An essential function of the caregiver role is keeping the baby safe at all times.
